On Wednesday 15th July 2015 we arrived at school to find 14 new additions to our school community.
The mummy duck has already laid one brood this year back in May, and we rehomed them to our pond.
However she decided to have another brood and made a very feathery nest under the bay tree surrounded by a rosemary bush, in our courtyard garden. It was very well camouflaged.
Due to a lovely weather forecast we decided that we needed to get them to a pond as soon as possible.
So on Friday we managed to catch all the babies and mummy and Mrs Lynes has very kindly taken them to her pond, as ours has now dried up.
For more pictures take a look in the Gallery.
