We came in to a little surprise today.
A bird has decided to make a nest in our bird box, and luckily its the one with the camera in!
The Foundation Stage children have been having a group bike session with the cycle team.
We have had a lovely week with our lovely teddies. We have been exploring their height and weight and ordering them. We have also had a lot of fun making healthy teddy bear biscuits which the children couldn't wait to eat
Everyone is bringing in their teddy and we have lots of ativities and learning based around bears!
We had a wonderful time celebrating May Day today. Our Royal Family watched as we entertained them with singing and dancing including some traditional maypole dancing.
We are learning all about how plant's grow, so we are growing our own sunflowers. We are going to work really hard to look after them and learn all about what they need to make them grow.
In Maths children have been learning about capacity and have really enjoyed exploring this with water. We delved deeper today with problem solving questions.
We have had a very exciting morning! We are learning our news tory the 'Teddy Robber'. We found the giant visited our school and tried to take our teddies!
It has been a wonderful term. All the childrens boats and ships made in Science week have all been tested and the majority floated so well done everyone, great designs! The Tenterden Infant Armada is sailing strong throughout the corridors.

In maths Year One are learning about money and recognising different coins. We have moved onto adding small amounts together 2p+2p+1p= 5p.
