Church Distinctiveness
Our School Vision
As a welcoming Church School, we aspire to provide care and support for each other and the wider community. Through the practical application of Christian values and a positive growth mindset, our pupils challenge themselves to be independent, inquisitive and knowledgeable; a positive influence on society.
One of our children in a pitch to be House Captain described herself as ‘… small but mighty!’ This personifies the parable of the grain of mustard seed which has been chosen to identify what we believe Tenterden C.E. Junior School represents. Even the smallest child entering our school has the ability, we believe, to grow, take on knowledge and then flourish into a strong citizen. The strength of our children working together allows others to grow in a supportive atmosphere and spread out, like healthy branches, to touch, influence and support others in our local, and wider community.
